Social media censorship sucks and is a major problem on websites like X, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. What made these platforms great is gone, and they are now AI-driven. The AI can flag your posts even if it does not break their terms of service.
CENSORSHIP
For example, if I post a photo of a female in a bikini, it can flag my content as being nude. Some friends, photographers, and models have had their accounts deleted because of the algorithm. These sites are so big that they don’t have human moderators anymore.
ALGORITHM
Furthermore, the algorithm hides your content, and you have to do a lot to get your post out to people. If you want to reach their user base, buy ads; otherwise, they will hide your content. Some people are lucky and can trick the algorithm, but for most people, it’s hard to grow on Instagram, which is hurting people’s mental health. Facebook and Meta are chasing advertising dollars over providing their users with a good experience. There’s nothing wrong with making money, but they have betrayed their loyal supporters.
WHEN SOCIAL MEDIA WAS GREAT
Social media was great when you could talk to the owner and get instant help. On MySpace, we had Tom, and Tom was everyone’s friend. You could talk to Tom even though MySpace was a big platform back then.

I hate Meta’s harsh censorship, so in 2022, I created the Inspir3 Radio Social Network for our readers, listeners, and creatives. If it grows, great, but the platform is about genuine connection. Meta and X are too big to go back.

Since X is right-wing, you may be penalized or banned for talking about diversity, immigration, Black issues, immigration and LGBTQ topics. This is why left-leaning people have abandoned Meta and X. Zuckerberg and Elon are billionaires who don’t care about their users. We allow left and right views but do not allow racism.
